Features:
This village is located at a southern corner of Syuejia District and includes the two settlements of Dongliao and Dongzhuwei. When World War II ended, the Taiwanese economy was poor which made life extremely difficult. The settlers worked hard to clear more lands with the hope of creating a growing and prosperous home, giving rise to the name of Xinrong (new prosperity).
